brakes dont work - i got a new rear master cylender and wont work started by cr125masta

ive tried bleeding them and swaping the liquids with dot 4 brakefluid and thres good seals. but for some odd reason the brake wont work so any ideas are greatly appreciated. thanks

make sure there is not a crack in the line, and when your pushing the brake pedal down is the fluid going down?

yes the brake fluid is going down and i dont think there is any cracks in the ine

i'd take the pistons out and make sure that the seal isn't bad.

if the seals were bad, they could have pinched themselves in the brake caliper and not allow to the piston to move and push the pads into the rotor, most the time tho they pinch not allowing the brake to retract and leaving the bads against the rotor locking up the brake (IE chad reed durring one of the races last year)

Jees eh, i betcha that can cause damage to the cylinder if you keep trying it.

Did it work before you changed fluids or has it not worked for awhile. You may not be bleeding it correctly. I was bleeding the brakes on my sled all the time for SnoX and I never had a problem then I had to do the front ones on my bike and it was fine. About a month ago I couldn't get the rear blakes to work and I kept trying on and off for a couple days to bleed it after having the brake off the bike and finally asked this other guy to help me and he did the same thing I was doing and it worked. I felt like a damn fool.
