Well I first started riding MX in may and putted around a couple of the novice races on a friends bike and then came over here to Norway to work for my uncle and I have been practicing at the local track pretty much 3 times a week all summer and finally after jumping through all the liscence BS Hoops I have my liscence and will race on Sunday. I'm stoked to see how I do in the "New Beginner" Class as its called over here. I think as long as ride completely in control and don't go over that thin line of control I will do pretty good. I'll be sure to get some pictures for you guys.

Just got back, no pics because it was a combined heat so the Cousin I came with was racing with me and couldn't take pictures. They use transponders over here in Norway that record your lap times and count laps so the people don't have too. In the practice the fastest lap time gets to pick a gate before anyone else. My fastest training lap was the 2nd fastest, only 2s behind. The track was muddy and slippery and my big 2stroke 250 was especially being a PIA to handle today in the sharp ruts. Not to mention I couldn't see **** through my goggles and my tearoffs didn't help. I was second in the first heat with my fastest lap being only 1/10th of a second slower than 1st place and the second heat I was 6th with one slideout and one stall. So I was 4th overall and I was satisfied with that being my first real MX race. I realized just how much I need to work on my conditioning though since the last 7min or so I was barely holding on to the bike. I think it might be time to give the bike back to my uncle since it started to snow here and I don't think there are anymore races.

Nice job 4th is great especially for your first race. MX is definitely work out and the mud makes it even harder but thats just part of the sport and we love to do it!!
