How to Winterize a bike. Best way to strip the bike down over the Winter months, take a day or to and analyze those high point stress area's, swing arm, rims, brakes, wheel bearings, etc. Next is to start the wish list, fork seals, clutch fibers, tires, tubes, swing arm and wheel bearings, fork oil, grease, brake pads, and shock rebuild. Why your at it, might as well freshen up the paint job on the frame, make sure those handle bars are straight, grips aren't wore out, and cables are not stretched. Great deals can be had on E-Bay going into the new year, as well as Dennis Kirk, Rocky Mtn, Chaparral, and others, as they unload their '08 inventory for new on merchandise

Winter months I'm always working on my sled, but I use to rebuild my bike every winter so I would have a trouble free year.

03 yz250 has a few bolt ons!!

Darkside, a normal winterization on a bike, is 2 hours, and that is having a few "ales" and taking pic's a long the way. You "mounties" must be laying back on the couch about this time!!!!
