When I got the bike last fall, the previous owner had just installed a brand new tire. After basically one season of riding, I've worn it right down to almost no lugs on the face and really short on the sides.
I'm looking for an extremely hard composite tire, something that isn't going to wear out as fast.
I ride alot of hard surfaces like the bottoms of gravel pits after the sand has been removed and some back roads, and some soft surfaces like fields and bush trail.
Tell me what you’re running and/or what you think I should try?

^^^^Carlsbad is probably the way i'm going to go, but I'm thinking I'll look into Maxxis and see which I think will be better over all.

the maxxis seems to have more of an agressive tread pattern then the carlsbad. i liked it, but my buddy runs a carlsbad on his 450 and says he get's a lot better traction with it then my maxxis
