wooden ramp - grippy surface started by zdawg

	I have a wooden ramp that I built, and a friend of mine said that you should put shingles or chicken wire on the surface of it so that if the wood is wet or your tire is full of mud, you wont spin out and kill yourself. Is this a good idea? Im soon hitting it when all the snow is gone, and I want it to be as safe as possible. It seems like it should work, but has anyone here seen this done before? 	Couple of my friends have wooden freestyle jumps and we didnt put anything on it... Just dont hit it when its wet... Darkside's idea soudns like it would work pretty well... Otherwise there is some like grit paint or somthin we put on the floor of our trailer that would proble work pretty wel.. 	Most hardware stores have a texture type thing that you use for celings and stuff. It comes in a arosol can. Just spray some of that on there and you'll be fine. You will most likely be fine without anything on it. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit

	Try the textured stuff thats what we used when building the track at my cousin's. We used it for the first year with nothing and had no mishaps but decide it was only a matter of time.
