I got a little lazy this year and just drained the gas out of the tank and left everything like that. Anyone got any good tips for storing 4strokes? when i had my 2stroke i put new tranny oil in, and put a little premix in the cylinder and cranked it over slowly....left the coolant in there too.

I never do a whole lot. Usually just dump some stabilizer in the gas tank and call it good. Than before I ride it the next year I put in a new plug, oil, and lube everything up good.

I use to tear down my entire bike and just check it over rebuild the top end check bottem specs, clutch fibers, rims, brakes, wheel bearings, etc. Clean and some tuchup paint on the frame.

On a four-stroke, it's a good idea to store the engine at TDC on the compression stroke. This takes the stress off the valve springs and keeps moisture and critters from getting in the engine. Drain the float bowl and spray the bike down with WD-40. It will keep the corrosion off the aluminum and the rust off the steel parts.
Take some tape and cover the air box holes and exhaust (mice love air filters and a nice cozy exhaust pipe to call home).

If you can't afford a new four stroke, you can't afford a used one either!
