Got my bike back today after I had my fork seals replaced and I was gonna take it out for a little ride. After I got tired from kicking it over I took the seat off and shot some carb cleaner in the intake. It finally fired and ran at a super high idle and would die with out the choke.

WHATS WRONG?

The only thing I can think of is at the end of last season I was being a total idiot and was messing with my mixture screw, but I'm pretty sure I had it back to normal???

LIke mx said sounds like its runnin lean. Your sure you were adjustin your fuel screw and not the idle, alot of people mess those up. Is your hot start stuck open? That would cause it to run rich but could be the problem also...

I ran it in this weather last year so it's not the jetting, it almost has to be that damn mixture screw again then. From where it is at right now (running super lean) which way do I adjust it? Counter clockwise?

If its running lean you would go counter clockerwise. Sure your hot starts not stuck in the carb? Ill get on team greens site and see what they recomend the mixture screw at.

Team green recommends 2.5 turns out

if the hot start was open it would run a very low idle not extremely high

Yea I know it would make it real rich, but when I had my 07' the hot start got stuck and it broke off fromt the little piston in the carb so it wasnt really connected, made it run at a high idle.
