Get good boots! Gearne's I love, everyone swears by Alpinestars but after going to Gearne's from Alpinestars Ill keep the Gearne's. I didnt even get the highend Gearne - I have the fastback which is more/less the Sg-10 out right now. This will be my 3rd season I with them and they've help up great!
Also try wider footpegs, Yamaha comes stock with wider ones but Kawi's are pretty narrow.
