Hey, I know they had a valve problem on the honda crf250r's in 04 and it was better in 05 but did they still have that problem in 06?

im pretty sure it was 04-06. my buddy has an 07 and the valves are fine. you should be able to get more information somewhere.

06 was alot better. Honda had/has valve problems period. 04 was the worse, better in 05, and quite a bit better for 06 and on.

Buy a 2 stroke so you don't have to worry about valves and overhead cams!

I've heard 04's were bad and 05's were only slightly better than 04's. I would shy away from the 04's and 05's and look for 06 or newer.
