Just thought I would post this since we don't have much activity on this site at times... Me and some friends hit a local atv mx track up this past Saturday. It was an atv only park with 2 miles of mx tracks that were ok at the best. Jumps could have been better but it was my friends first time on a real track and I think everyone had a pretty good time. PolarisIndySKS on Snowmobile Fanatics took all the pictures and videos. I'm on the orange 05 Polaris Predator TLD 500 and PolarisIndySKS from SF is on the white Yamaha Warrior 350. It's not too weird but I've been on quads since I was 4 or 5 years old. Bikes jump and land a lot easier and quads require more throttle to clear some of the bigger jumps. And to whip a quad you really have to have good control. The way I look at it is both quads and bikes are fun but bikes are a little bit better.

One of my buddies races quads. Cornerin is sweet... thats it... They are so big and bulky to jump, and whoops royally suck. He's got 3,000 suspension and jumpin still sucks ha ha. I find it hard to maintain momentum on quads. But cornerin is fun. And I think quads look pre sweet all modded out.

Well said. Cornering is a lot of fun. Whoops suck, they're killer. My quads got a little over $2,500 in FOX suspension and stock suspension on my YZ handles jumps a lot better. And the momentum thing is true, a lot harder to maintain it but you just have too.

You talking bout that kid with the can am? He's fricken crazy. Never in my life have I seen someone launch a quad like he does. As far as riding quads on moto tracks, I absolutely hate it. Traded rides with a friend who has a 700 raptor, took one lap and that's all I needed to realize how much funner bikes really are

the whoops suck if they are built for bikes. but theres tracks in ontario built just for quads and the whoops arent as steep and more spread apart, they play more as rollers for quads and alot of guys just single them.. cornering is really fun though hangin it sideways

Yep that's how this track was built with high rolling whoops since it was an ATV only course. Most tracks with whoops for bikes really suck on a quad.

Ha yea thats who I'm talking about. This will get you, he's 30 years old and started racing quads 4 years ago. I used to work with him, and now live just down the road from him. And the other amazing thing is he can't ride a bike 1/4 as good as he can that quad.

Yea haha. It was the first time I went off that jump with my bike of the day and under estimated how much throttle I needed to clear it. After that landing that jump was a lot nicer when landing on the down slope of the landing.
Pulled a pic from the landing of that video. lol This is how to use all your suspension travel fully.
Here's a couple more pics I got. I have a few more, probably upload them later when I get some time.
