bottom end oil - what do you guys use? started by vamped400

looking to change, and stay with the same oil on my rm 125. some people say to use 10-40 oil, others say not to and to use bel ray gear saver and others say you can use 10-40, but its best to change it after every ride. what do you guys think?

I have always ran standard 10 40 engine oil in my 2 stroke transmissions

I run Honda 10-40. I've found Honda oil really good. Tried other like Bel Ray, Motorex or w/e its called, couple other ones. I like anythign but Kawi oil, Kawasaki oil is not something I'd brag about ha ha.

the amsoil 10-40 is pretty good as well.
