Only $970 for this? It just doesn't seem right. I guess it is a 95 and only a 80, but still that seems a little low.
Edit: I put this into the "other" foutm because there is no fourm for this bike.

sad to say but dirtbikes don't reatain their value, unless it's not made anymore and is clasified as collectors. like the old yz490 and WR500, KX500 and the CR500's

resale values on 50s are just plain horrible. i bought it for 1,200 new 2 years ago and have more than 3K in aftermarket in it(not cheap ebay junk), and i probably wont get more than 900 for it.

if you are trying to sell it, the only way to get your moneys worth is to part it out.

I'm not gonna do that... I'm not thinking about selling it, I was just curious about how much it was worth.

Im looking at getting another bike. I was wondering how high I would want to go with the size of the bike. I want a fourstroke, It will get ridin by me (5'10 165Ibs) and my brother (6'4 210Ibs i think). I am not brand loyal.
Any sugestions?

250 four banger from any brand will be good for you, lots of power and fun to ride so your brother will have fun on it too, I've had two and would love to have the last one back, but my two stroke is just as fun and has more power.

250F I would say. Kawasaki would be my first choice Yamaha 2nd, Honda 3rd, Suzuki 4th. But everyone has different preferences. Otherwise if you dont plan on racing it you could find a good deal on a 125 right now Im sure. They actually seem more fun to ride imo. If you can ride someone elses 4-stroke a little and see if you like it.

I don't want a 125 4 stroke, I rode a kids last week and wasn't to impresed. I beat him with my 80 too. So I want something that is equal to a 125 2 stroke, but is a 4 stroke.

ya I was talking about a 125 2-stroke not 4-stroke, 125 4-strokes have no balls. And 4-stroke equal to a 125 2-stroke would be a 250F.

Thats what I thought. I guess I'll keep my eye out for a 250 (My brother doesn't want another 2-stroke he hates them, sorry).

quote this next statement of mine to your brother then:
ever listen to a 450 or 250F race bike with an exhaust? then tell me which one is louder.
