As you all know I am looking for a new bike. I was (at first) looking for a 250 4-Stroke, but now found a nice 125 2-Stroke. It is a 2001 Suzuki RM125 for $1000. It isn't in it's best shape, but I can fix that in 2-3 hours. It has some aftermarket stuff like bars, graphics, somewhat fresh rebuild, and some more stuff like that. I took it for a little test drive and it ran great (plenty of power)

I was wondering if you guys think it would be a good deal. I'll try to get pictures asap.

Also, sorry for all those PM's (MX86 and Kawi_Rider) about diffrent bikes, I think this one will be the one

Lets see some pictures of it, Maybe its just the location your in but that bike would probably go for like 2400$ where i am. Make sure you check it over VERY well, look for oil leaks such as you seen on your bike, check the bike for compression, ask for receipts, tires, flip through all the gears while riding, suspension...i can go on for hours lol

Funny story: I got home, and it was siting on my yard. I figured that he was out in the feild with my dad or something, and took of with it around the yard. My dad got home and told me the story of how he heard I was looking for a bike, and brought his over. Its sorta muddy, so I'm gonna wash it up, mostly because we are proubly gonna buy it (90% chance). I am gonna go ride it pretty soon, then wash it up and get you guys some pictures.

Here is a picture. We rode it for about 8 miles today. I really like it and can't wait to buy it. (I get to have it on my lawn till either I buy it or tell him I don't want it, but I need to decide by Wedensday)

Looks nice. But anyone can throw new plastics and graphics on a bike and it will look new. $1000 for that doesnt seem to bad. I just sold my 03' Kx 125 for $1800, it hardly had any time on it and had alot of new stuff on it. Ask him how often he changed the oil/air filter in it. If your not ganna race in my opinion you will have more fun on a 125 than a 250F. Like Mx said offer him $800.

Sweet man, I think you will be glad you picked that over a 250F, and saved some money too!

That YZ250F I showd you looked TERRIBLE in that picture. I went over to his house and figured out that it is a SICK machine. It has almost everything that you can put on a bike. He has alot of spare parts. And he would throw in a complete set of riding gear (inluding jersey, pants, chest protector, boots, socks, knee brace, AND MORE!!!) It is a AWESOME bike, although it cost twice as much. We were trying to figure out which one to get untill I brought up that it is a nice bike, nice deal, but not twice as good as the Suzuki. So that's why we got it.

I was happy with the desion.
